Back to College

(sigh) Another week I can't put up my comic.
1. Darn Procreate Painter Classic is giving me a headache.
2. I really need to work on the newspaper comic.
3. And I'm just lazy.

Maybe I'll put up a Xiao Bao sketch just to make me feel less guilty.

College....back to college...book supply bill $132 without art supplies...without art supplies.
Then tuition....you wonder why college students are so poor.

I'm happy to go back. I like getting back into a regular routine. However, I'm sad I will not be able to go to my Animation Show chats. Darn evil Freshman art seminar is scheduled so late.

Well, look at it this way. This is an investment of a lifetime. You have one-up’d the kids who don’t go to college.

I have found it useful to think of it this way. It seems to me that you are well on your way to CalArts. A little sacrifice here, a little sacrifice there. . .equals fewer sucky Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh imports and more artist-driven work. Those dubbed toons blow, hard.

I don’t mean to be this animation snob or anything, but I much prefer lavish American animation with influences of Japanese and Chinese styles than cheaply made, stilted Japanimation designed to sell a line of carefully-crafted plastic merchandise, manufactured by Hasbro or Mattel.

Although, that Bionicle: Mask of Light Mainframe feature wasn’t as bad as I dreamed it would be--

I always enjoy Enoch comments, but when I get spam comments, it really makes me angry.

Please don't spam on this site anymore unless you really have a comment about my posts.

Thank you.
